What is recorded here
Killaghteen holds a hidden ringfort, a thirty-metre circular enclosure buried beneath level rough grazing in County Limerick. The earth swallowed the stone and soil until only shadow remained, yet the shape still resists forgetting. People may have lived inside that invisible circle before the grass erased their footprint. The land keeps what human memory loses.
In level rough grazing. No evident surface trace of monument evident as cropmark of circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on aerial photograph (LAS).
