Fairy forts are a kind of ringfort. They are human made. People built them. The fairy name came later. The circle still stands in Kill Saint Anne North. It is small enough to walk around in a minute. It is old enough to have watched several centuries of life pass it by. The field fence may still hold part of the original bank. That much is known. The rest belongs to imagination. A family may have lived there. Children may have run inside the circle. Storms may have beaten the bank until it lowered. The facts stop there. The shape continues.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Levelled. Circular area (34m N-S; 34m E-W) defined by low rise (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m). Earthen field fence WNW->NNE (H 1.2m) may retain original bank.
