What is recorded here

Kilgobnet holds a true ringfort, not a fairy tale, though locals may have dressed it in magic to keep strangers away. Its earthen bank still rises one metre eight outside and one metre inside, encircling twenty-eight metres of pasture beside a working farmyard. A stone gateway with steps opens to the north, and a hidden passage may still breathe underneath the central grass. People built this place to control entry, exclude unwanted witnesses, and preserve what they valued on a south-facing slope where shadow moves quickly at dusk.

In pasture, on break in S-facing slope, at S side of farmyard. Circular raised area (28m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.8m) SSE->NNW; low bank survives NNW->SE, revetted by stone wall externally with gateway and steps to N. Remains of stone facing in bank to SW.
