Kildromin holds a 150-foot earthen ring in low-land marsh, its causewayed entrance pointing northeast like a deliberate invitation. The bank still rises three and a half feet above the wet ground, shaping a circular platform large enough for lives, not toys. Its size and setting suggest people valued the place enough to build, defend or remember it across generations.

Described by O'Kelly (1944, 17) as following; 'A circular platform on the edge of which there is a bank. The entrance is on the N.E. side where the fosse is causewayed. Maximum height of bank, 3' 6" [1m], overall diameter, 150' [45m]. Situated in low-land marshy ground'.
