What is recorded here

Kilberrihert held a thirty-metre earthen ring before ploughs and pasture erased most of its shape. A low scarp still marks the south quadrant, while a shallow ditch lingers beside it like a forgotten breath. The fort may have housed families, hidden stock or simply belonged to the land, but human hands have already smoothed its edges into ordinary grass.

In pasture. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; south quadrant visible as slightly raised area, in N corner of field, defined by scarp (H c. 0.4m) SE->SW; depression (D 0.4m) outside scarp to SE may be remains of fosse. No visible surface trace of enclosure to N or E of field fences. One of two levelled 'single-ramparted' forts recorded by Bowman (1934, 628-9) on Daniel Foley's and D.
