Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Kilbarry (kinalmeaky By.) stands in pasture on a SE-facing slope, a circular raised area about 55m across. O Ríordáin (1931, 61) called it a probable lios in the fort field, and a man-made underground passage still lies within. The distinction between rath and fairy fort may matter less than the shape itself: a clear circle, slightly proud, with a hidden passage beneath.

According to O Ríordáin (1931, 61) in a field 'known as the fort field' are 'the remains of a large circular earthwork abour 57 yards in diameter. This was probably a lios'.
