What is recorded here

Situated on ESE-facing slope of a hillock, in undulating pasture, with good views to SW. Moated site (WM025-052----) lies c. 80m to NE. Monument described as a circular-shaped area (diam. 36m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone with external stone facing visible from W-N. A large upright slab is incorporated into the internal face of the bank at N. The entrance (Wth at top 3.8m; Wth at base 2m) is at SSE and a large stone forms part of its E side. The interior has a general ESE-facing slope with a house site (WM025-051001-) in the W quadrant. Outline of monument clearly visible on oblique aerial photographs (CUCAP AOZ007/008) taken 12/07/1966.
