Death and rebirth is the game played in Iffernock, where three distinct rings touch like fingers on a clenched fist. The main chamber measures twenty-five metres across, bounded by a shallow ditch rather than a proud wall, inviting entry instead of warning against it. Two smaller satellites press against its northern and southern edges, creating a continuous loop where human thought might collapse into endless repetition. The fairies did not build a fortress to keep intruders out; they built a trap to keep memory intact.

Situated on a fairly level landscape. Aerial photographs by Conor Newman show three enclosures within a field system (ME036-057001-) and it is also visible on Bing images (2013) and (GB89.M.06). This enclosure (diam. c. 25m) is defined by a single fosse feature (Wth c. 1-2m) and is conjoined with the defining feature of rath (ME036-057002-) which is just to the NE. Rath (ME036-057004-) is c. 10m to the SW. It was also photographed by Noel and Conor Murphy in July 2018.
