Hunger and distance turned that place into a trap. The woman ran until her legs burned, then the path vanished into wet dark. She thought she died, but the chamber took her anyway. It showed her the room where she had sat before the road, waiting for someone who never came. She had not been lost. She had been carrying that chamber everywhere, forcing every empty room to remember the woman it had discarded.

A circular area (diam. 27m) defined by a bank (Wth c. 2.4-2.7m, int. H c. 1.8m, ext. H c. 2.4-2.7m), external fosse and possible outer bank (OPW file). The site was levelled and no visible surface remains survive.
