Mortals build rings to keep out what they fear. The fairies build rings to keep out mortals. Gort Na Fuinseann still stands above the Douglas river with its earthen bank incorporated into a field fence, waiting for someone reckless enough to complete the circle. Pairc a Leasa is not a home, it is a warning about the shape of ownership itself.

In pasture, above S-facing slope, overlooking Douglas river to S. Arc formed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (int. H 1.6m) NW->ENE, incorporated into field fence system. According to local information, "full ring" clearly visible when field ploughed; known as "Pairc a Leasa".
