What is recorded here

No one knows who built the fort in Gneeves, but the land still holds its shape. A circular bank rose from the field, wide enough to walk inside and tall enough to keep out what did not belong. Some people called it a fairy fort because the rules changed there, not because trolls lived there. The boundary line on the survey map still draws the same circle Bowman measured, proving the earth remembered the shape long before human records did.
