In grassland at the W end of an E-W ridge in upland area with good views in all directions, levelled stone circle (TS054-011001-) 45m to the W. Ringfort consists of a circular area (int. diam. N-S 60m; 48m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 3m; base Wth 7m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.7m) and outer fosse (base Wth 2m; top Wth 5m; ext. D 0.4m) with entrance gap (Wth 4m) at SE. Possible rectangular enclosure (TS054-012002-) immediately to SE of ringfort. An aerial photograph (GSI 1974, S. 578/7) indicates a possible smaller enclosure (TS054-012002-) within the SE quadrant of this ringfort. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
