What is recorded here

Four ringforts stood evenly spaced in Garrycaheragh when Bateman mapped them in 1716, yet only the eastern site remains visible today. A low bank still defines a circular area twenty-eight metres across on high ground sloping gently south. The other three vanished beneath pasture or time, leaving behind a gap that invites wonder rather than explanation.

An inspection of the area in October 2000 noted the following: In pasture, on high ground which slopes gently to the S. A levelled circular area (diam. 28m) defined by a low bank (int.
