Fiddaun holds a circular rath twenty-three metres wide, its earth bank and outer ditch still visible beneath grass and forgetfulness. A field wall cuts across the monument, proving that human convenience has repeatedly trampled older boundaries. The fairies may have built it first, but people kept using the land until they stopped seeing the shape at all.
