Fenagh holds a grass-covered oval ringfort on a slight rise above Glencar valley, defined by an overgrown earthen bank and a faint external ditch. The entrance has vanished beneath soil and time, leaving only a hidden boundary between human memory and fairy speculation.

Situated on a slight rise towards the top of a S-facing slope on the N side of Glencar valley with a stream immediately to the E. Grass-covered oval area (int. dims 27.3m E-W; 22.8m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at NE: Wth 5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 2.1m), with a slight external fosse (Wth 3m) at NE.
