Fairy fort in Farranmanagh, County Kerry: a possible rath, about twenty metres across, on a south-facing pasture slope. The 1846 map marked a circular enclosure there; ploughs and feet have since worn it into a low rise. People may have lived, hidden or played inside that circle before forgetting it. The land keeps the shape even when memory leaves.
In pasture, on a S-facing slope. This possible rath is indicated on the 1846 OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m). It has been levelled and is evident as a low circular rise (diam. c. 20m).
