Man-made underground passage in Coolroe North — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Coolroe North held a man-made cave inside a possible rath on McCarthy's farm, recorded in the 1940s and now vanished without visible remains. That sudden absence is fitting, because underground passages in Kerry often behave like secrets: they give up one chamber, swallow the entrance, and wait for someone to stop looking. The field may have covered the opening, or the passage may have closed after doing its work. Either way, the land kept the strange part private.

In a possible rath (KE057-043----). In the 1940s a 'cave' was recorded in a rath in McCarthy's farm (Schools Manuscript, Co. Kerry).
