Fairy fort in Farranaglogh is a circular earthen ringfort on a ridge in County Meath, with a grassy interior, buried entrance and surrounding ditch. People may have lived there, fenced it or left it to the fairies, while the land kept its shape through rain, grass and forgetting.

Situated on a rise towards the W end of a ridge in an undulating landscape. This is a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 32.5m WNW-ESE; 32m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 6-9m; int. H 0.7-0.8m normally to 1.4m at SE; ext. H 2-2.2m) with some bushes and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 6-6.5m; Wth of base 2m; ext. D 0.3-0.5m). The entrance (Wth of base 3.1m) and causeway (Wth of top 3.1m; H 0.5m) are at ESE.
