Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Enaghgare stands atop a rise in County Limerick, its roughly circular scarped edge and re-cut drain still marking a place people shaped long before modern fields. The earthen bank and faint counterscarp suggest a defended or valued interior, while the clear ground and gentle slope invite imagination about who lived, hid, gathered or prayed there. Local names may preserve more than joke, yet the earth keeps the facts and memory supplies the life.

Atop rise, in gently undulating pasture. Roughly circular area (51.1m N-S; 56m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 1.35m; Wth 2m) with external fosse re-cut to form drain (Wth 2m; D 1.1m) WNW->ESE, and enclosed by partially levelled earthen bank (int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.15m) with external fosse (D c. 0.15m; Wth 2.8m) ESE->WNW. Faint traces of counterscarp bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.2m) evident at SSE and SW->WNW.
