A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Dunderrow, likely an early-medieval agricultural or defensive site, is recorded in Dunderrow Wood on the east bank of the Bandon River, though no visible surface remains exist today. It was noted by J. Windele during an archaeological survey and is associated with local folklore linking such sites to fairy realms and otherworldly activity.
