Drumpeak holds a substantial earthen ringfort with a thirty-one-metre interior, likely entered from the south. The local name Fairy fort suggests people once imagined the circle belonged to another kind of being, while its solid bank and possible shallow outer ditch point to a human home, shelter or marker built to be seen and defended.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 31m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank. An earlier description (OPW 1974) noted the presence of a shallow external fosse from W-N-NE.
