It sits on top of a drumlin and forms a D-shaped grass-covered area measuring 31.5 metres east-west and about 20 metres north-south. An earthen bank runs from the northeast to the east-southeast, while a scarp rises from the west-northwest to the north. A band of rushes marks the fosse at the northwest and northeast-east, and a 3.6-metre-wide entrance opens toward the east-northeast.
