What is recorded here

Drumcrow holds a faded fairy fort where a thirty-seven metre circular bank still rises above the Cavan soil. The earth has worn thin and the entrance has vanished, yet the unbroken ring preserves the shape of a place set apart from ordinary fields. People may have lived inside that boundary or excluded them from it, but the fort still draws the eye back to its hidden centre.

Raised circular area (int. diam 37.5m) enclosed by a badly denuded earthen bank. No visible remains of an external fosse. Original entrance not recognisable.
