Fairy forts are not for us. They are for the old residents who never left. Dromsullivan South keeps one ring on a slope above the Meelagh River, large enough to hold a household but hidden enough to resist ordinary ownership. The earth still stands where people stopped shaping it, suggesting the boundary belongs to patience rather than pride.

In pasture, on N-facing slope overlooking Meelagh River. Circular area (26m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by earthen bank W->E (H c. 1.7m); scarp (H c. 2m) E->W. N half of interior heavily overgrown.
