What is recorded here

Dromroe Commons once held a twenty-metre earthen ringfort, visible on maps from 1842 to 1937 before ploughs erased its surface. The earth swallowed the boundary, yet aerial views still catch the faint shadow of its bank and ditch. What looked like a fairy fort may have been an ordinary home, its walls forgotten but its shape preserved in the memory of soil and sky.
