Fairy fort in Dromeliagh, County Limerick: a 26-metre earthen ring with broken northern and western gaps, sitting in wet pasture where the soil remembers every footstep. The flat interior and shallow outer ditch suggest people once drew a line around ordinary life, excluding rain, danger or forgetting. Local tradition calls it a fairy fort, which may mean the boundary still feels occupied even when empty.

Situated in low-lying, poorly-drained pasture. The monument is evident as a circular area (diam. 26m) enclosed by the remains of an earthen bank (int. H 0.15m; Wth 2m; ext H 0.25m) and a flat-bottomed external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.15m). There are gaps in the enclosing element at N (Wth 1.4m) and W (Wth 1.5m). The interior is level.
