Fairy fort in Dromanarrigle, County Cork: a bivallate earthen ringfort, two concentric banks and fosses, still marking a 24 m circular area on a gentle south-facing pasture slope. People may have lived there, kept fire going, set children down to play, and left the shape behind. The fairies, in local story, took the fort and made it their own, which is why it is called a fairy fort rather than a human one.
