Situated on a low rise in lowlying, level pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 24.4m) enclosed by a low bank (Wth 4-4.3m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 1.5-2m) of earth and stone, with an external fosse (Wth 3m; ext. D 0.4m) which has a modern field boundary at its outer edge from WSW-N-NNE. The fosse is clearly defined only ont he N half of the rath. Stone-lined break (Wth 1.8m) in bank at E represents original entrance. A short distance S of the centre of the enclosed area is a linear bank (L 3m; Wth. 1.8m; max H 0.4m).
