What is recorded here

Doocassan holds a thirty-metre earthen ring where a break in the eastern bank still marks the entrance used by forgotten people. The wide ditch outside and substantial bank suggest a defended home rather than a casual fairy tale, though local tradition may have dressed the stones in magic later. Modern roads and field boundaries now circle the ancient shape, trapping human life inside a container built for visibility and protection.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 30.3m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank. The site is further encircled by a modern field boundary from SSW-N-E and by a modern roadway from E-S-SSW. A wide ditch which is presumably on the line of an external fosse, occurs outside the bank. Break in bank at E probably represents original entrance.
