Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Derrygrath Lower is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Derrygrath Lower, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a roughly circular area 36m north-south and 40m east-west on a south-facing slope, bounded by an earth and stone bank 0.9m high inside and 1.3m high outside. Two gaps in the north and northwest quadrants appear broken through by cattle, while a 1.5m gap in the northeast quadrant may be the original entrance.
On a S-facing slope, just off the crest of a ridge, in undulating pasture. Nicholastown Castle (TS082-043001-) is visible on a hill 1.5km to the SW. Neighbouring ringfort (TS082-018001-) lies 9.3m to the NW and ringfort (TS082-018003-) lies 34m to the S. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 36m N-S; c. 40m E-W), very dense scrub in interior with whitethorn around the bank. Bank (Wth 1.4-1.7m crest; 3.2m base; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.3m) of earth and stone. Gap (Wth 0.93m) in N quadrant appears to be broken through by cattle and another gap in the NW quadrant (Wth 1.3m) also appears to have been broken through. In the SW quadrant there has been some small scale quarrying, now covered by vegetation. The bank on the S side of the ringfort is heavily overgrown with brambles. A gap (Wth 1.5m) in the NE quadrant may be the original entrance. In the SE quadrant the bank has been levelled.

A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Derrygrath Lower is a circular earthwork enclosure typical of early-medieval Ireland, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. Local tradition associates such sites with the faé or other supernatural beings, and they were often considered places of magic or otherworldly significance in folklore.
