Fairy fort in Derryginagh East is a roughly circular earthen ringfort, about 21 to 23 metres across, with a low rise and shallow outer depression on a south-facing pasture slope in County Cork. People may have lived there, excluded rain, or marked the edge of a household world before the field swallowed the shape. The fairies in the name suggest the forgetten human claim still irritates the land, refusing to become ordinary.
