Half a metre of raised earth on a low hill in Derrinloughan, large enough to hold a dozen people and small enough to hide them when the rain came. The fairies may have taken it later, but people lived there first, and the ground still keeps the shape of their choices.

On the N facing slope of a low hillock. Grass and rush-covered oval platform (dims 33m E-W; 20m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.25m at SW to 0.8m at N) SW-NNE which eases into the hillslope elsewhere.
