Daingean Na Saileach holds a circular earthen ring above the Dangansallagh River, preserving a broad entrance and a recumbent stone at its centre. The fort faces south, catches daylight, and keeps its boundary visible in pasture. Its waterlogged ditch and solid bank suggest people shaped the slope for residence, defence, or ritual memory.

In pasture, on S-facing slope, overlooking Dangansallagh River. Circular area (32m N-S; 30m E-W) raised 1.5m above surrounding ground level. Interior enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m); external fosse survives as slight depression SSE->E, except to SW (D 0.6m) where it is waterlogged. Entrance (Wth 2.4m) to SE. Stone (1.4m x 0.5m; H 0.5m) at centre of interior in recumbent position. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
