Fairy fort in Currymount, County Cork: a circular earthwork about thirty metres across, with a low bank and shallow outer ditch, sitting in pasture on a gentle south-east-facing slope. A stream still runs partway through the ditch on the east side, and conifer stumps mark trees long since cut from the interior. The shape is small enough to walk around in minutes, yet old enough to belong before records, before roads, before the present farm layout. It is the kind of place where ordinary life and story life stop being easy to separate.

In pasture, on gentle SSE-facing slope. Circular area (29.6m E-W; 28.8m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.3m); external fosse (D 0.4m) N->NW. Bank and interior partially overgrown; formerly planted with coniferous trees, stumps remain. Stream flows in fosse to E.
