Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Curraghcreen is a vanished Chamberlain ringfort, not a mere fairy tale. Bowman measured it at twenty-nine yards across on T. Ludgate's land, with a five-to-nine-foot bank and a hidden underground passage inside. The earth may have swallowed the exact spot, but the shape remains: a small defensible room where human hands still speak through soil.

Bowman (1934, 16) records ringfort (diam. c. 29yd) on T. Ludgate's land, with interior raised and bank 5ft to 9ft H. Exact location not known. Man-made underground passage (CO032-13602-) in interior.
