Fairy forts are human origins and memory, not fantasy. They are ancient field works, often farm or ritual boundaries, remembered through story. Clear fact must lead, but wonder may still enter.

Cropmark of fosse and traces of levelled internal bank of circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) visible in aerial photograph (CASAP, July 1989); arc of outer fosse noted along N side. Field fence crosses enclosure off centre to E. Possible circular enclosure (CO023-322---) c. 120m to SSW in same field.
