In pasture, on S-facing slope of E-W ridge. Circular area (29m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.3m). Bank stone-faced externally; planted with coniferous trees to W where incorporated into field fence system. Large cairn of field clearance stones adjoining outer bank face to SE. Interior raised on S side to compensate for hillslope. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
