No visible trace remains at Crowbally, though local memory still shapes the hidden ground as a fairy fort. That unnamed ring may have defended people, excluded strangers or simply marked the boundary between human law and older claim. Forgetting the human owner does not erase the function of the line; it removes the name that made the line answerable.
