What is recorded here

Half-hidden in grass on a Galway rise, the fort keeps its circle intact. Two earth banks and a narrow ditch still mark the edge of a small life long dead. The gap at the east may be a door, not a wound. What entered through it, and what left, has gone back into the grass.

On a rise in grassland. Well- preserved circular rath (D 25.8m) defined by two earthen banks and an intervening fosse. The fosse and outer bank only survive from S to WSW.
