Creevagh in tirawley By. holds a earthen ringfort, a circular defense built by human hands yet named for fairy fort because people still believe the fairies claim what humans abandon. The clay rim may have guarded a family, a herdsman or a small kingdom before memory faded, while the fairy label warns that the place belongs to something older and less reasonable.
