What is recorded here

Four circular forts stood in a rough east-west line across Courtbrack, each separated by about 150 metres. The local name Fairy fort suggests people once imagined more than humans lived there. One fort is now levelled, leaving only a fence kink and slight rise in pasture, but the repeated shape and spacing indicate a deliberate settlement rather than a single isolated house.
