Corsilloga holds a subcircular earthen ringfort on a drumlin summit, marked on maps since 1793. Its overgrown bank, deep fosse and blocked causeway still shape the grass, while a shallow depression reaches from the centre toward a modern gap. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped there before the scrub claimed the stones, but the earth remembers the shape of their choices.

Located on one of the summits of a NE-SW drumlin ridge. This rath is represented on McCrea’s Map of County Monaghan (1793) and on the 1834 and 1907 editions of the OS 6-inch map. It is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 43m NE-SW; 35.5m NW-SE) defined by an overgrown earthen bank separated by a wide and deep fosse from a raised berm that has banks on its inner and outer edges separated by a berm (Wth c. 3m to c. 5m at NE. There is an entrance through the inner bank (Wth of base 3m) and a causeway (Wth of top 4.3m; H 1.1m) at ESE but a the gap (Wth c. 8m) in the raised berm is blocked. There is a depression (dims 11.5m NNW-SSE; 4.3m E-W; max. D 1.1m) extending from the centre to a modern gap in the inner bank at NNW.
