Fairy forts are human ringforts misnamed, and this is one: a 52.5-metre circular enclosure in Corran pasture, bounded by a 1.2-metre earthen bank and a 2-metre-deep external fosse, with its entrance facing west. A house and yard sit to the north, a roadway passes to the east, and the field around it is still worked. The name fairy fort is local tradition, not fact; the shape and remains are human.

Hartnett (1939, 209) recorded short section of outer bank surviving on W side and corn growing in interior (1938). Roadway runs outside bank to E; house and yard to N.
