Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Cornasleeve

Located on a SE-facing slope just off the SE tip of a NW-SE drumlin ridge and overlooking Creevy Lough, a small subtriangular lake (dims c. 225m E-W at N; c. 200m N-S) c. 270m to the SE at the closest point. This is a circular overgrown area (diam. 29.3m N-S; 27.6m ENE-WSW) that slopes down to the S (H 2m). It is defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at WSW: Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.7m), which is incorporated into a field bank W-NE but is reduced to a scarp (at ENE: Wth 3.2m; H 1.8m) over most of the perimeter. There are entrances at SE (Wth of base 3.6m) and SW (Wth of base 2m), both of which could be modern. There is a local tradition of a cave or possible Man-made underground passage (MO028-108002-) in the interior but there is physical evidence of it.
