Fairy fort in Cornagunleog, County Cavan: a raised circular area, 30.8m across inside, with a shallow ditch still readable from south through west to northwest. An older account added a low earthen bank along part of the upper edge and placed the entrance at southeast. The measurements are clear; the shape is not. That gap is what makes the place memorable.

Raised circular area (int. diam. 30.8m) enclosed by vague traces of a fosse, identifiable only from S-W-NW. An earlier report recorded a low earthen bank at the upper edge of the scarp from WNW-NW and suggested that the original entrance may have been at SE.
