Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 27m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a well-preserved fosse. Original entrance may have been at SE. Modern roadway skirts the site from ESE-S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
