Fairy forts are earthen rings people built and reused, yet Corgreagh keeps a bedroom shape: two banks, a hidden ditch, a broad berm, and an entrance still pointing east-southeast. That much is clear. What is missing is the life that moved through it, the doors closed at night, the fires lit and forgotten. A ring this complete may have been a home, a workshop, a boundary marker, or a small fortress for a family who believed strength came from shape as much as size. The fairy name does not dismiss human making; it admits the limit of human memory.

Raised circular area (int. dims. 29m N-S; 31m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with external fosses. A wide berm separates the outer bank from the inner fosse. Outer fosse identifiable only from NNE-E-SSE. Outer bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Original entrance at ESE.
