Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corbally Middle is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Corbally Middle, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass and rush-covered area measures about 21.7m north-south and 21.5m east-west on the crest of a broad ridge. A rush-filled fosse 1.5 to 2m wide defines the perimeter, while a rush-filled drain clips the northwest to north edge. Another rath lies about 180m to the northeast.
On the crest of a broad ENE-WSW ridge. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 21.7m N-S; 21.5m E-W) defined by a rush-filled fosse (Wth 1.5-2m). There is no visible entrance, but a rush-filled ENE-WSW drain clips the perimeter NW-N. Rath (RO017-001----) is c. 180m to the NE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
