Coolrus, County Limerick: a 50m ringfort on a south-facing shoulder, lost to the plough but still hinted at in a curving stone-faced bank. The fort may have held a family, a herdsman or a seasonal camp; the ground has kept only a suggestion of its circle. What was inside has gone, yet the boundary still bends as if remembering the shape it once closed.

In pasture, on shoulder of S-facing slope. Monument, depicted on 1923 OS 6-inch map as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m), has been levelled.
