Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Coolrus

Fairy fort in Coolrus, County Limerick: a levelled ringfort whose boundary still shows as a yellow grass band, thirty-six metres across, on a SE-facing pasture slope. The fort has been flattened, yet the circle remains visible in the colour of the grass, with a faint trace of its outer ditch at the northwest edge. It may have been a home, a boundary marker, or a place people avoided after dark. The land kept the shape long after the builder left it.
